An "intentional act" cannot be ruled out as the cause of a fatal fire that occurred Sunday morning near 27th and Highland, according to Milwaukee Fire Chief Aaron Lipski.

Milwaukee Fire Chief Aaron Lipski said, "We can't rule anything out" when it comes to the cause of the apartment building fire that killed five people Sunday. Lipski and other city leaders held a news conference Tuesday afternoon about the fatal fire. "Obviously, we'd love to know what started this fire," Lipski said.

A fifth person has died as a result of a fire on May 11 in the Highland Court Apartments on Milwaukee's near west side, Fire Chief Aaron Lipski said.

Milwaukee firefighters are at the scene of a possible car fire. The fire was near 10th Lane and Burleigh Street in Milwaukee, just north of downtown Milwaukee. The car was right outside of a garage, and there is caution tape posted in the area.
